Individual Counselling
A space to feel seen, understood, and gently supported toward change.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or simply tired of pretending everything is okay, you’re not alone. You may be carrying worry, loss, or a deep sense of powerlessness—even after trying to problem-solve or “push through.” Individual counselling offers a place to slow down, be honest with yourself, and be heard without judgment.
Together, we explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion. I bring the wisdom of my own experience and ongoing healing into the room, offering a grounded, genuine, and deeply validating presence. You can expect to feel accepted as you are, while also being gently supported to understand yourself more deeply, reconnect with what matters to you, and find new possibilities for how you want to move forward.
As you begin to feel safer in yourself, you can start to notice the patterns that have helped you get through difficult things, understand what may be underneath them, and develop more choice in how you respond. This is a gift you give to yourself—one that can ripple into the relationships and parts of your life that matter most.

Couples and Relationship Counselling
Helping relationships move from tension and disconnect to deeper connection and repair.
Relationships can bring out both our greatest joys and our deepest wounds. Whether you’re navigating conflict with a partner, struggling with co-parenting, or feeling emotionally distant within your family, relational challenges can leave us feeling isolated, unheard, or unsure of how to move forward.
In our work together, I offer a respectful, non-blaming space where each person’s experience matters. We look at how patterns have developed, what emotions may be going unseen, and what each person needs in order to feel more connected, secure, and valued.
Rather than focusing on who is right or who needs to change, we can slow things down and become curious about what is happening between you. Sometimes that means understanding your own history and how it shows up in the relationship. Sometimes it means finding words for something that has been difficult to say, listening differently, or learning how to stay connected to yourself while making room for someone else.
My role is not to take sides or decide who is right. It is to help create enough space and safety for both people to be heard, understood, and curious about what might be possible.
Relationships will have difficult moments and ruptures. What matters is having ways to navigate the tension, repair what has been hurt, and continue finding your way back to connection. This can include setting boundaries, staying connected to yourself, and finding—or celebrating—ways of being together that feel more respectful and sustainable, while still allowing each person to show up as themselves.

Caregiver Support Group
A community of care - for caregivers.
Currently on hold — groups are offered periodically.
Parenting—especially in the context of family complexity, mental health struggles, or past trauma—can stretch us in every direction. You may feel isolated, burnt out, or caught in loops of worry and shame. Sometimes, what’s needed most is simply a place to say it all out loud and be met with empathy instead of advice.
This group offers a space to be real. You’ll connect with other caregivers who understand the emotional weight and day-to-day demands you carry. We don't pretend to have all the answers. Instead, we create space to listen, share what we're learning, and navigate the challenges together—while being witnessed by others who understand something of what you're carrying.
I co-facilitate this group with a colleague who is also a parent and social worker. We share a deep commitment to creating a non-judgmental space, and to the belief that we don't get to decide for someone else what feels safe or comfortable. Rather than telling you what this space will be, we invite you to step in, explore, and decide for yourself whether this community feels like a place you would like to be.
As a father within a blended family that embraces diversity in identity and experience, and as a trained Family Peer Support Worker, I bring lived experience, patience, and a gentle presence to these groups. You’ll be encouraged to share, listen, and develop more self-compassion, while also gaining perspective and support for navigating the challenges of caregiving.
