Hi there, I’m Nicholas.

I work with individuals, couples, and parents/caregivers who are trying to find their way through difficult relationships, transitions, and seasons of life.

I believe that much of what we struggle with makes more sense when we understand where it came from. Our relationships, our experiences, and the families we grew up in all shape the ways we learn to navigate the world and the people we love.

I know how hard it can be when the person you love is struggling and you don't know what to do.

You might be saying:

I've tried everything. What else can I do?

I'm exhausted. I'm scared. I'm not sure I'm doing the right thing.

I feel like I'm doing this alone.

Am I turning into my mother or my father?

My partner and I see this so differently. Who's right?

My child won't talk to me.

Something keeps happening in my relationship and I don't know how to change it.

I feel disconnected from myself.

I know something doesn't feel right, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

You don't have to arrive knowing exactly what's wrong or what you need to change.

Counselling can be a place to slow things down, make sense of what's happening, and get curious about what might be underneath it—so that, over time, you have more choice in how you respond and what you want to do next.

For parents and caregivers, this might mean understanding your child's behaviour differently, finding your way back to connection, or simply having somewhere to put the weight you're carrying.

For couples, it might mean understanding the patterns you keep getting caught in and finding a little more room for each other.

And sometimes the work is more personal: understanding how your own history shows up in the way you relate to yourself and the people you love.

I don't see myself as the expert on you. You are the person who knows your life. I bring training, experience, curiosity, and a relational perspective, and we can work together to make sense of what's happening.

I believe you have wisdom and knowing within you. Sometimes it gets harder to hear when we're overwhelmed, disconnected, or trying so hard to get things right.

Let's slow things down. Let's take care of you, too.

I see it as a privilege to walk alongside people as they reconnect with themselves, their relationships, and what feels possible.
